Our Roots…

The foundation of Chatham Green Landscapes’ approach to service began nearly 20 years ago with owner Bill Donzeiser, who operated a landscape maintenance company in Basking Ridge, NJ, while serving as lead gardener on a private Rhode Island estate. But like many paths, the road to Chatham Green Landscapes was not a straight one. For a time, Bill’s focus shifted to a career in financial services, where he held senior positions on the trading and sales side of several US and Global investment banks.  It was a combination of these past experiences, Bill’s love of the outdoors, and his entrepreneurial spirit that led to the founding of Chatham Green Landscapes. 

We believe in providing exceptional work at a competitive price., while staying true to our founding philosophy of honesty, integrity, exceptional client communications and a robust technology framework.  We not only believe in going above and beyond to care for our properties, we are also deeply committed to the communities we work in, and consider ourselves stewards for the overall global ecosystem. Through charitable give-back days for those without means, the use of eco-friendly products and equipment to reduce noise and pollution, and through education for our staff, our clients and the greater communities we serve, Chatham Green Landscapes isn’t just a business, we’re a member of the community.

Our Team is Your Team

Chatham Green Landscapes combines the quality and synergy you expect from big business, with the care and service of a small community business. Our teams will bring this winning combination to your property each visit.  We thoughtfully screen, background check, and hire based on specific job skills, and our teams are carefully selected based on each individual’s unique skills.  You will likely come to know your crew lead by name and they’ll quickly learn and log any preferences you have into our remote CRM app.  Is there a wet spot you’d like us to avoid after a rainstorm, or a gate to keep closed for the safety of children or pets?  Our technology ensures you will only have to tell us once, and any of our teams will already know your preferences.   

Our employees have chosen this path because it’s their passion, but many have other talents. We have a few musicians who even teach, several have advanced degrees, and many have young families who they enjoy spending time with on the weekends.

 

 

Our Process

Step 1 : Know your Client

At our initial visit we will get to know you and your property by asking specific questions which will be used to create your property profile. This profile will sit in our CRM platform as a living document and serve as our roadmap to service.

Step 2 : Our Proposal

First and foremost, we believe in transparency. With our proposal, you’ll receive a straight-forward agreement covering all services discussed and pricing.

Step 3 : Kick-off

When we start work, you’ll be introduced to your designated crew lead or project manager. He or she will be your direct contact for any on-the-job needs or service changes you have.
